We are currently working on a number of different EU initiatives and would like to establish partnerships with other organisations in order to further develop this work.

Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Programme
Through this programme we can offer young European graduates three months fully funded work experience on our project in Tenerife. Because of the diversity of our operations we can dovetail this experience to match perfectly with the career aspirations of each individual participant.

The programme is written so as to provide participants with accredited skills training such as PADI Diving, Carbon Trust Assessor etc.

The AWF is adding to this by giving an opportunity to all participants to carry on their experience for a further year at any of our projects around the world with a view to helping each and every participant get a strong career foothold either in the employment market or in their own enterprise. The AWF will fund all their flight costs and expenses. This is a real push to individual sustainability in ethical activity.

The AWF is interested in collaborating with organisations across Europe who would like to extend this opportunity to graduates from their country.

Youth In Action

Through this programme we are running Passport to The Planet workshops through which young people between the ages of 17 and 30 can work with each in preparing for their own projects to be implemented around the world at any of our project bases. The only cost to these workshops is 30% of flight costs!

There has to be at least two European countries involved and the AWF can find partners for you and advise you on how to apply for the funds.

EVS European Volunteering Service
As an accredited organisation, the AWF will be developing our capacity to offer young European graduates the opportunity to gain worthwhile experience at project bases globally through the EVS programme.
